TAICHI YAGAMI, age 11. Digimon Adventure. At the age of 11, Taichi is full of curiosity and he’s a pretty adventurous kid. He’s usually pretty happy with the way things are going and he has a “go-get-em” attitude that makes him a great leader. At times, Taichi can be a little bossy and hard-headed but any mistakes he makes he works twice as hard to fix them. Taichi acts solely on impulse, but toward the end of their adventure he starts to gain more knowledge and strategic thinking. While he may not be as book-smart as his friends Koushiro and Jyou, Taichi does have the skill to think on his feet and figure out things for the group. It takes a lot for Taichi to break and show his weaknesses but it doesn’t take long for him to snap out of it and bounce right back. He’s a pretty naïve kid though and often times he relies on his friends to help him out. He’s loyal to his friends and he’ll do anything he can to make sure they’re all safe, especially his younger sister Hikari and Sora, the friend he’s had the longest. Occasionally Taichi will butt heads with people (like Yamato, who points out his flaws) and he’ll fly off the handle but in the end he knows that fighting’s just a temporary solution and that he needs to be part of the team if they’re going to accomplish anything. |
